Release Notes

Product Updates

A clear record of recent updates, improvements, and fixes.

  1. Seating Builder Upgrades

Arrange tables and room features, drag guests onto seats, and choose what guests can see. Save a private room template and apply it to another event without changing the original. Seating stays included until October 19, 2026; after that, new events use CHQ+, and events that already had seating keep it.

  2. RSVP to Individual Schedule Events

Event Schedule now lets guests RSVP to individual events inside the main event. Organizers can turn registration on for a schedule item, and a guest's Going or Not Going applies only to that item. It does not change their overall event RSVP.

  3. Custom Invitation Opening

Organizers can choose how guests open an invitation: a classic flip, or a custom envelope with color and a wax-style seal using initials or an uploaded image.

  4. Sign-In Works on More Workplace Networks

Sign-in, password reset, and account actions now stay on Ceremony HQ instead of a third-party auth host, so the app is more likely to work on workplace Wi-Fi that blocks those services.

  5. Event Program Builder Upgrades

Design pages in the Event Program Builder now use a focused full-window editor with richer tools, better previews, image handling improvements, default emblems, and updated service song content.

  6. Resource Attachments in RSVP Confirmations

Guests who RSVP as going now receive uploaded event resources, such as PDFs, as attachments in their confirmation email.

  7. Auditorium Seating Layouts

The Seating feature now supports auditorium-style layouts with row-and-seat labels, assignment tools, auto-assign support, and printable/exportable seating grids.

  8. How-To Guides Are Easier to Find

Help guides are now easier to reach from the public site, with a dedicated Help entry in navigation and a Resources hub that surfaces both articles and step-by-step walkthroughs.

  9. Feature Usage Guides

Published step-by-step help guides so organizers can quickly learn key workflows and use core features with less guesswork.

  10. Event Schedule Is Live

Guests now get a mobile-friendly day-by-day schedule view with timezone-aware "current time" indicators, optional meeting links that accept simple domains, and per-item PDF attachments for quick download.

  11. Marketplace is live

Discover curated gift ideas and affiliate listings tailored to retirements, farewells, and more.

  12. Invitation Editor Refinements

Adjust background image framing with per-layout cropping, plus clearer date and time rendering on invitations.

  13. Purchase Tickets for Others

Buy tickets for multiple recipients, assign later or send claim links, and track who claimed each ticket.

  14. Plus-One Ticketing

Primary guests can view party QR tickets, plus-one validation is enforced, and purchaser management flows are clearer.

  15. Newsletter Preferences

Marketing email opt-in captured at signup and RSVP, plus a new unsubscribe experience and account toggle.

  16. Terms & Privacy Updates

Expanded Terms of Service and Privacy Policy content with clearer communication and contact details.
